Thank you for expressing your interest in participating in SIP 2017 “Structured co-operation to tackle the Societal Impact of Pain”, June 8-9 in Valletta, Malta. Due to the limited space available participation at SIP 2017 will be confirmed by the organisers after registration.
The registration fee for regular attendees (excluding accommodation) will be donated for support of activities addressing the Societal Impact of Pain on Malta by the Malta Health Network and the No Pain Foundation.
For participation at the event dinner at June 8th the fee is EUR 25
Seats will be assigned to active participants (e.g. speakers, working group members) first, the remaining seats will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. Participants will need to cover their own travel and hotel costs.
The scientific framework of the "Societal Impact of Pain" (SIP) platform is under the responsibility of the European Pain Federation EFIC®. Cooperation partners for SIP 2017 are Pain Alliance Europe (PAE) and Active Citizenship Network (ACN). The SIP 2017 symposium is co-hosted by the Malta Health Network and the No Pain Foundation. The pharmaceutical company Grünenthal GmbH is responsible for funding and non-financial support (e.g. logistical support). In the past the scientific aims of the SIP symposia have been endorsed by over 300 international and national pain advocacy groups, scientific organisations and authorities.
